Ingredients

1 shortcrust pastry

4 eggs

5 oz of sugar

3 oz of cornstarch

1/4 gallon of milk

1 vanilla pod
Preparation

Boil the milk with the split vanilla pod (lengthwise).

Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch with the sugar and add the well-beaten eggs. Mix everything (well homogeneous) and add the boiling milk (without the pod).

Cook the mixture over low heat without stirring for about 1 to 2 minutes.

Butter a mold and put the shortcrust pastry in it. Pour the preparation.

Cook for around 30 to 40 minutes at 355 ° F.
