20 minutes

30 minutes

Medium difficulty

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 oz of water

  • 0.55 lb of sugar

  • 0.33 lb of flour

  • 0.5 oz of vanilla sugar

  • 0.5 oz of baking powder

  • 5 oz of butter

  • 1 can of sliced pineapple

  1. Preheat the oven to 355° F.

  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar.

  3. Add the eggs one by one, mix well, then add the sifted flour and the yeast.

  4. In a pan (which should go on the stove), make your caramel: let the sugar melt (without water or anything), it should get brown. Add the caramel in your baking pan, have it covers the whole pan and add the pineapple rings (keep the juice for later).

  5. If you have pineapple left, add them in small pieces in the dough.

  6. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for about 30 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and let cool. Soak the cake with the pineapple juice that you will have left in your pineapple can.
